about

Life swings between events beautiful and tragic.
Ambient background noise swells until it becomes you, previously ignored frequencies fill every crack.
The crash of noisier things saturate until they no longer stand out, instead becoming another layer of normal smeared over an uneven existence.
These eyes we see through slowly dull and damper. We force in brighter sounds in a desperate attempt to feel something.
With every new sequence and verse, there's a crescendo of acknowledged significance and a wave of sadness for the death of that moment.

In the process of making this album, we made a home, a marriage and a tiny new life. I'll try my hardest not to disappoint her.

about

Mesozoic Townsville, Australia

The musical outlet of human Owen Davis. Mesozoic combines instrumental Post Rock with ambient slush and stolen words to create something which is profoundly and decisively sound.
